Join this hands-on, power-packed, 2-session small business workshop to:

• Identify your challenges and learn strategies to deal with them
As a small business owner, you’re working hard every day — and you don’t always have time to think about what’s holding you back and keeping you from growing. We’ll work together to take that time, walk through exercises designed to dig out your most pressing roadblocks, prioritize them, and set a plan of attack customized for your small business.

• Clarify your direction

Do you know where you want your business to be in 10 years? 5 years? Next year? If you have an idea of where you want to go, it’s a whole lot easier to get there, and having a real vision is one of the most powerful strategies there is to accomplish this. We’re not talking about meaningless words on paper here, we’re talking about real things you can actually do — and we’ll work on this in class.

• Learn low-cost and no-cost marketing strategies

Bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to take your business with tactics and techniques that won’t break the bank. Many advertising solutions can be expensive, and small businesses often overlook these easy “low-hanging fruit” ideas to get closer to their customers.

• Find your ideal customer and narrow your niche
It’s tempting to want to offer your products and services to everyone, but the truth is that everyone is not your market. Stop marketing to the masses who think you’re “kind of okay” and find the smaller group who can’t get enough of you to see a difference in your bottom line. We’ll do hands-on exercises to identify your ideal customers and what it takes to interest them in your business.

“I’ve been in a lot of different trainings and studies and I’ve never felt as good about being in a space and learning and growing as I am in this one right now — and I wanted to communicate that to you publicly. I thought, ‘Oh it will be a fun little course,’ but I probably got more value out of that one class than I have in a lot of classes I paid thousands of dollars for, truthfully.”

“Lots of small business and marketing classes are taught by people who’ve never acutally run a small business. But I have. . . for 25 years. I know what you’re up against.

From 1984 to 2009, I operated a marketing communications firm in Toledo, Ohio. Go ahead, google me.

I promise this workshop will be valuable, informative, and fun.”
